PRIVACY / CURRENT DATA NOTICE
Your information.
Clear boundaries.
This notice describes the current LocalBoost website. For privacy questions or a data request, contact dean@localboostdigital.co.uk. Product applications and Stripe checkout have their own data flows and notices; check them before entering information.
Optional website analytics
Website page and click analytics are off until you allow them. Declining does not stop browsing, the package builder or checkout links. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals override permission. You can change your choice below.
When enabled, first-party analytics records a random anonymous session ID, public page paths, server receipt timestamps, static clicked labels and sanitised destinations. Source, medium and campaign labels can be recorded from campaign parameters. External referrers and destinations are reduced to their origins, without paths, query strings or fragments. Internal destinations have query strings removed. Sensitive-looking labels are discarded. Form contents and private Founder/account pages are not measured by the page collector.
The session ID is held in this tab’s session storage and renewed after 30 minutes without a recorded interaction. Your preference is held in local storage. No cross-session visitor identifier, full IP address, browser fingerprint, card details or third-party advertising tracker is added by this analytics implementation. Hosting providers may separately process ordinary request metadata.
The Founder can inspect anonymous recorded journeys and aggregate counts. Authenticated Founder traffic is marked as test traffic by the server; browser test markers also separate test events. Historical records use the previous persistent browser ID and can span several visits. Anonymous activity does not reveal a person’s identity, and this dashboard does not link browsing to customer or payment records.
Website analytics preferences
Off
Turning this off clears analytics identifiers on this browser. It does not delete previously collected records.
Analytics storage and retention
Recorded website events are stored in LocalBoost’s Cloudflare D1 database. Authorised Founder access is required to view them. The dashboard’s normal reporting windows are today, 7 days and 30 days; those windows do not delete older data. Historical records remain in the existing database. An automated retention/deletion schedule has not yet been configured. Contact LocalBoost about deletion and provide an anonymous session reference if you have it; turning analytics off does not erase records already stored.
Storefront measurements and saved packages
The existing storefront interaction collector also respects the optional analytics choice and uses the same session ID. Its bounded product and package events go to first-party server logs; these are distinct from the website journey table. It does not record payment success. The package builder saves selected product IDs in local browser storage so that selections can be resumed. This functional selection storage is separate from optional analytics.
Local workspace information
Discovery answers, Personal Systems entries and imported review snapshots are held in browser memory. They are not submitted as analytics or included in URLs. Refreshing or closing the page clears that in-memory state. Optional Personal Systems usage counters are separate, remain in memory and contain no entry text.
Exports and enquiries
Exporting creates a file on your device. Store and share personal exports carefully; clearing a page does not delete downloaded files. Email enquiry links open your mail application and can include selected package items. Only send the information needed for your request. Calendar export creates a file, not a live calendar connection.
Payments and product applications
Current purchasable services link to Stripe-hosted checkout. Card details are entered at Stripe, not into this website’s analytics. Opening checkout or requesting access is not recorded as a successful payment. Software availability and billing readiness are described in the catalogue and FAQ.
Use minimal information
Avoid sending passwords, credentials, card numbers or detailed health information. Local browser workspaces are not encrypted vaults. The public site analytics does not attempt to discover names, emails or identities from browsing.
